Samir Al-Jishi General Manager, Corporate Finance & Strategy Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) Samir is a Board member of several affiliated companies, and a member in different executive committees. He is an executive having overall experience of 30 years in the industry. He joined Sipchem in 2004 and became the head of the Corporate Finance & Strategy in early 2023. His responsibility includes Corporate Strategy, Corporate Finance, Treasury, Investor Relation, Tax & Zakat and Affiliate Management Office. Prior to that and since 2011, he was the head of Strategy & Business Development. In that capacity he was responsible for Developing new projects, M&A, Partnerships and Corporate Strategy. He also was the head of R&D for 3 years since 2016. Prior to joining Sipchem, Samir worked for 10 years at SIDF as senior technical consultant. Samir is a Mechanical Engineer from KFUPM and completed a Post Graduate course at Cambridge University (UK) followed by MBA from King Saud University. In addition, he attended several executive & Leadership courses at INSEAD, IMD and London Business School.
