Furkan Unal is serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at TFI TAB Food Investments since December 2022. He also serves as Executive Board Member of TAB Gıda and Atakey under the TFI Group. He is also an Independent Board Member in 2 different international banks in Albania and Kazakhstan. Before TFI Group, he was the Group CFO at Kardemir Group for 5 years. Kardemir is Turkey’s first heavy industry initiative and wholly publicly traded company. He has significant global experiences in project management, strategic top management, institutional capacity building and industrial economy. His expertise also extend to financial product development, acquisitions and mergers, investment banking and corporate finance at various prestigious institutions.   In addition to his work at TFI Group, Unal continues to work as the Vice President in the Executive Advisory Board of the Istanbul Finance Summit as well as the Advisory Board Member in the Sarajevo Business Forum, and the Finance Association of Turkey. After his undergraduate education in Faculty of Engineering at Uludağ University, he completed a MBA degree from Istanbul Bilgi University. He is currently a PhD candidate in the field of Management and Organization at Istanbul Bilgi University.
