María José Martínez is an economist with a concentration in Management and Finance. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science from New York University (NYU), and earned her MBA from Columbia University.
She brings extensive experience in the financial sector, having served as Director of Institutional Banking for Citibank in the Dominican Republic, and as Vice President in Citibank’s Public Sector Advisory Group for Latin America, based in New York.
María José also has a strong background in the public sector, having worked as a Program Officer for the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) in Santiago, Chile, and as a Program Manager at the Ministry of Economy, Planning, and Development.
