Carlos Andre - ANBIMA

President

Carlos André is the President of ANBIMA and formerly served as Executive Vice President of Wealth Management at Santander Brasil. He worked at Banco do Brasil for over 37 years, holding several executive and leadership positions in finance, capital markets, and asset management. His roles included Managing Director at BB Securities Ltd (London) and CEO of BB Gestão de Recursos DTVM S.A. He was part of the Executive Board of Febraban (Brazilian Federation of Banks) in 2021. He also served on the of the Board of Directors for Gerdau S.A., Seguradora Brasileira de Exportações (SBCE), Elopar, and Banco Votorantim. Additionally, he was Chairman of the Fiscal Council at Ativos S.A. Carlos holds a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering from UFRJ and an MBA in Finance from IBMEC-RJ. He has completed several executive education programs both in Brazil and abroad.
