Agostina Pechi is Managing Director, Head of Global Capital Markets for Latin America and the Caribbean. In this role, she leads the Equities, Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities businesses, overseeing trading, sales, and capital markets across the region. Her teams are strategically located in Toronto, New York, London, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Chile, Brazil, and the Caribbean. Agostina is committed to driving innovation and delivering integrated solutions to clients across Global Banking and Markets and International Banking. With nearly 20 years of experience in Capital Markets and Corporate & Investment Banking, Agostina brings deep expertise in derivatives and structured products, with a track record of leadership and client impact across global financial institutions. Prior to joining Scotiabank, she held senior roles at Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, and Goldman Sachs, where she was Managing Director and Head of Latin American Structured Credit Sales and the Emerging Markets and Commodities Local Sales teams. Agostina serves on the boards of Galapagos Conservancy and Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. She holds a Bachelor’s in Economics from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella.
