Lilian Coutinho Managing Director, Head of Latin America Corporate Finance SMBC New York Lilian Coutinho is Head of Latin America Corporate Finance in SMBC New York since December 2021. She has over 25 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking. Lilian joined SMBC in January 2020 to lead the origination efforts for SMBC in Brazil across all industries of coverage and products. Prior to SMBC, Lilian was a Managing Director and Head of Natural Resources for Latin America at MUFG in New York and had other positions in Corporate Banking in MUFG in Brazil before moving to NY. Prior to her tenure at MUFG, she was with ABN AMRO REAL. Lilian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from UNICAMP in Brazil. She is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
