Nicolai Sarad - Bracewell

Nicolai Sarad advises financial institutions, developers, equity investors and governmental agencies in the United States and internationally on project structuring, development and financing, acquisitions and dispositions, and restructurings, as well as providing day-to-day operations and maintenance advice. He focuses on thermal power and renewable and sustainable energy (including solar, wind, energy storage, sustainable fuels and fuel cells) and infrastructure projects (including mobility and social infrastructure public private partnerships (P3s)), water, mining, process plants and major manufacturing. In addition to project financings, Nick has significant experience on project asset and equity acquisitions and dispositions, as well as project development, including EPC and Design-Build contracts, equipment supply contracts, operation and maintenance agreements, and concession agreements and related P3 documents. Nick’s recent experience includes advising the borrowers on the financing of transmission infrastructure upgrades in Belize, the financing of commercial port improvements in Suriname, the financing of upgrades to a portfolio of transmission assets in the United States, as well as advising lenders and borrowers on a broad array of renewable and sustainable energy project financings in the United States.
