Where Does Private Credit Sit in the Portfolio Puzzle?

12:20 PM - 12:45 PM 26/02/26

In this interview-style session, a Latam pension fund will unpack how private credit stacks up against other asset classes, where Latam fits in a global portfolio, and what gets them to say “yes” to a new manager or mandate. We will ask:

  • Where does private credit sit in your capital stack – core allocation, opportunistic, or placeholder for something else?
  • How do institutional investors view private credit as a long-term allocation tool for diversification, portfolio stability, and ALM?
  • Are you overweight or underweight Latam right now – and why?
  • What would make you pivot from PE to private credit, or vice versa?
  • What makes a new GP stand out in this market? What would make you say yes to a new GP today?
  • What’s your biggest internal challenge in increasing exposure to private credit today?
