Alberto is a Senior Investment Officer in the Investment Funds team at IDB Invest, where he plays a leading role in the origination, structuring, and execution of Private Equity and Private Credit fund investments across Latin America and the Caribbean. At the IDB Group, he has extensive experience overseeing complex financing transactions for banking and non-banking financial institutions across multiple countries in the region, contributing to portfolio development and institutional investment objectives. Prior to joining the IDB Group, Alberto held senior positions in strategy, planning, and risk management, including leading the Strategic Management Unit at Sudameris Bank in Paraguay and serving as Deputy Manager of Operational Risk and Senior Executive of Strategic Planning at AFP Integra in Peru. He began his career at PwC as an auditor for leading companies across diverse sectors. Alberto holds an MBA from INCAE Business School and degrees in Business Administration and Accounting from Universidad del Pacífico (Peru).
