Ehsun Zaidi is the Executive Head for ADCB’s Corporate & Institutional Business for Dubai and the Northern Emirates of the UAE since August 2023. Ehsun has over 25 years of Investment Banking and Corporate Finance experience, the majority of which has been in the Middle East region. Over the past two decades, he has worked with sovereigns, financial institutions and both public and private corporations on a range of strategic and transformative situations advising on Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, public Capital Markets issuances, Structured Debt financings and private capital raisings. Ehsun started his career with Citibank Pakistan in 1997 in Corporate Banking, before transitioning to Corporate Finance & Investment Banking roles in Bahrain and the UAE. In 2005, Ehsun moved to Dubai Islamic Bank where in his capacity as Head of Capital Markets, he led the bank to become the #1 ranked sukuk house globally within a span of 18-months. In 2007, Ehsun was appointed by J.P. Morgan to build out the firm’s Investment Banking presence in the Middle East. Ehsun went on to become Managing Director – Investment Banking and the Senior Country Officer for J.P. Morgan Dubai. In 2013, Ehsun was appointed by the French Investment Bank – Natixis – initially to head up the bank’s client coverage business in the Middle East & North Africa region, and subsequently took additional charge of running the firm’s Investment Banking business in the region, before moving to ADCB in 2023. Ehsun holds Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degrees from the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi.
