Managing Director, Co-head of Investment Banking

Faisal joined HSBC in 2003 in its HSBC Amanah business in Dubai and moved to Riyadh as HSBC Saudi Arabia founding team member in 2006. He currently co-heads HSBC’s Investment Banking business in KSA covering M&A, Equity Capital Markets, Debt Capital Markets, Leverage & Acquisition Finance, Loan Syndications, Project Finance and Issuer Services. Faisal previously headed HSBC Saudi Arabia’s DCM and Structured Finance business and has led a number of landmark advisory and arranging transactions raising financings through loan and debt capital markets. Faisal also advises clients on designing optimal capital structures and raising limited recourse financing for projects within infrastructure and industrial sectors and through public private partnerships. Faisal has a strong background in structuring shariah compliant transactions and is actively involved in supporting clients in development of their energy transition plans and raising financing in green and sustainable bonds and loans format. Faisal has an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Institute of Business Administration Karachi
