Kasief Isaacs - Creation Capital

CEO

Kasief has 17 years’ financial services experience. He joined Creation Capital as CEO in March 2025. Prior to joining Creation Capital, Kasief served as Head of Private Markets at Mergence Investment Managers, where he managed R4.5 billion in assets across SADC. This included overseeing R2.5 billion across senior debt, preference shares, mezzanine debt, and equity financing. His leadership helped secure R1.6 billion in new institutional inflows, with debt funds consistently outperforming benchmarks. Kasief also drove impact-focused investments, serving on the boards of several key portfolio companies providing governance and strategic input across water & energy infrastructure, affordable housing, and aquaculture investments. Kasief is Chartered Accountant with BCom Honours from the University of the Western Cape. He started his traineeship with PwC in 1994. He was admitted as partner in 2011 after an 8-year stint in the UK. As partner, Kasief played a pivotal role in establishing PwC’s presence in the Renewable Energy sector in SA.
