Saul Jonathan Garcia Acosta is the Head of Investor Relations & Capital Markets at Macropay, where he oversees investor relations and capital markets activities. With over 13 years of experience in investment banking, Saul has demonstrated exceptional team leadership and execution skills, managing transactions across various industries. He has successfully completed over 45 deals worth a total of US $9.8 billion, showcasing his expertise in structuring event-driven financing for corporate and financial sponsors. Saul has a profound knowledge of the middle market in Mexico and has executed various acquisition finance operations in different geographies and multicurrency . His experience includes working in one of the top investment banking Citi and Santander teams specializing in loan syndications. Prior to Macropay, Saul served as Vice President at Citi's Institutional Clients Group, where he led numerous leveraged buyouts, and corporate debt financing deals. His deep knowledge in financial analysis, project finance, and loan syndications has been instrumental in securing favorable outcomes for his clients. Saul holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). He is fluent in English and Spanish and has passed the Level I exam of the CFA program. As a father he enjoys the time with his son Román, and outside of work, Saul an avid runner and golfer, having completed three marathons.
