Clive is one of the most respected journalists in global banking and financial markets. Over a 30-year-plus period, he began as a capital markets journalist before early in his career editing titles such as International Bond Investor, Euroweek (now Global Capital) and Risk, the leading title for the global derivatives market. From 2005 to 2020, he was was the longest-serving editor of Euromoney, then regarded as the most influential title in global banking. While there, he produced definitive stories on all of the institutions and people who ran the world’s leading banks, forging close and trusted relationships with many CEOs, while creating the most admired suite of awards accreditation in the industry, From 2020 to 2025, he was Deputy CEO and Managing Editor of the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum (OMFIF), a research and membership business, where he built market-leading content streams in areas such as transition finance, sovereign debt and digitalisation of financial markets. Clive joined Global Banking & Markets (GBM) as Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief in July 2025. GBM is the world leader in emerging markets finance conferences, and in his new role Clive oversees content streams that both broaden and deepen the powerful networks that GBM’s events have built over the past 15 years.
