Head - Treasury

Shabbir Ahmad is the Head of Treasury for Landmark Retail since April 2021, managing Debt, Liquidity and Risk management of the Group. Landmark Group is one of the largest omnichannel retail and hospitality conglomerate, generating a revenue of USD 7 Billions, with presence in 17 countries in the Middle East, Africa, India and Southeast Asia. The Group owns and operates 22 established homegrown brands across an extensive network of more than 2,200 outlets. He has transformed the Treasury of Landmark Retail into a centralized and fully digitized function. He also takes a keen interest in sustainability-related initiatives and has converted all the Treasury products to sustainable. He was awarded the “Best Treasury Professional of the Year” by ACT in 2024. His team has also won award for ‘Best Team’ and ‘Best Treasury System’ Prior to Landmark, he spent 15 years with Nestlé across Dubai, Switzerland and Philippines covering multiple areas of Finance, IT and Shared Services. He loves to run and proud to have completed several full marathons (42KM).
