Relebohile is an executive at Barloworld Group Finance. The Executive: Strategic Finance Treasury, deals with Group strategic projects and corporate finance, which entail setting the finance strategy, allocating resources to key strategic projects for BW, Capital allocation, providing support and participating in acquisitions, disposals and restructuring of the business. She heads up the Group Treasury which incorporate sourcing Funding for South African and Offshore businesses as well as managing hedging risks in these jurisdictions. She was part of the team that successfully closed the acquisition and financing of Tongaat Hulett starch business (now Ingrain), the disposal of Motor Retail business to NMI and other pivots the business has embarked on. She also led the team that has de-risked the Pension fund in the UK. She was a CFO of the AvisBudget group in Southern Africa which is a subsidiary of Barloworld. She was in this position from June 2015 to December 2019. Her responsibilities entailed leading the finance strategy for the Avis Budget SA group, monthly reporting, financial analysis, Audit committee attendance, Board reporting, year-end financial reporting and Auditing, cash forecasts, budget preparation, incentive preparation, tax compliance in SA and regional countries. She represented Barloworld as a board member on a number of subsidiaries boards of Avis Budget and she was a member of the executive committee of Avis Budget. She is on the Board of Avis Budget car Rental, Avis Fleet leasing, SMD, Barloworld Logistics, NMI (Car Retail), and Siyakhula. She was also a Partner at KPMG for 7.5 years, first in the technical department and later in the Accounting Advisory services. She draws an extensive Technical, Public Sector, Motor Industry, Financial services, Education, FMCG and Telecoms experience from working with KPMG clients and her previous positions at National Treasury since 2004 until she rejoined KPMG in 2007. Relebohile was involved in delivering large accounting advisory projects, providing accounting solutions, IT systems implementation, Finance process advisory, Chart of accounts design, Audit readiness, Accounting (IFRS and IPSAS) conversions, Integrated reporting, GRAP, and SA GAAP. At National Treasury (Chief Director: National Accounts) she headed a division that consolidated financial statements for the public sector, managed the revenue fund for government (SARS tax receipts), managed donor funds in SA (the RDP), and government loans and reserves held at the reserve bank. She was the financial manager for the Revenue fund and the Rdp donor funds. In this role, she implemented a new IT systems for the revenue fund, drafted system specifications for the new IFMS system, drafted the asset management manual for government and prepared year end reporting templates for the whole of government.
